Port Discovery Children Musuem, a non-profit institution located in Baltimore, Maryland is requesting a mural for one of their spaces. The allocated painting space spans 50”. The goal of the space is to enhance imaginative engagement and permanately house a wooden train. The design of the mural should unify with the train while actively enhancing viewers and children’s experience.
Process
Description
My goal with my sketches was the expand the space. My drafts are viewers are greeted by waiting platform with train and warm window lighting. The purpose of this wall is to set the atmosphere and theme of the space.
Line work
The last mural features a one point, linear perspective scene of the waiting platform with trains on either side. The openness of the setting insinuates endless possibilities for creative endeavors.
