In Jose Villarrubia "Fantasy Art " (IL-333) class, we were assigned a greek myth to illustrate a poster/cover for. We were required to include the original title, author name, and significant characters in the story. I was assigned "The Minotaur". In the story, Theseus battles the Minotaur, a half-man, half-bull and master of the maze, who has claimed the lives of many young Athenians.

In one week, we delivered 4 preliminary drafts. My peers and professor learned toward the bottom right draft for it's dynamic and energy composition, but everyone agreed the bottom left draft provided better clarity and opportunity to organize information.
