Using hand lettering as the main element, create a magazine cover that invokes and accurately reflects an assigned companies atmosphere and demographic. The company I was assigned was Vogue.

Thumbnails started with with flourished hand lettering supplemented by ornate illustrated elements. A botanical theme was selected and research was done to ensure the illustrated were grounded in reality and believability. After a thumbnail was selected, a larger thumbnail was created for approval.

Preliminary Graphite Final, First Inking and Blocking in stage.
